Comments Off on New version of Flower Girl fabric
I seem to be revamping a few of my old designs at the moment. That’s because I am changing them into new formats and sizes and that gives me the perfect opportunity to change or update any bits.
The Flower Girl fabric has been revised slightly and created in lots of different colour combinations which are now available on Woven Monkey.
I created two particularly summery colour combinations which would be nice for floaty skirts and tops.
First is Fruit Salad followed by Festival.
Comments Off on Revamping an old design
Sometimes I make a new fabric design from the embers of some old designs and that’s what I did last week when I created an American style folk fabric.
A few years ago I designed some Amish people cut & sew kits which I think I only sold one of, the idea was to make a family group and string them like bunting.
I took some of the design elements from the kits and worked out a pattern repeat and then picked a selection of muted colours for the range and these are my results.
I’ve already had some cotton samples back from print which I’m quite pleased with and I think this one will be nice for kitchen textiles, aprons, patchwork etc.
Comments Off on More new fabric designs added to my Woven Monkey shop
I’ve been pretty busy revamping old designs and creating new ones for the Woven Monkey fabric shop.
Here are some of my new offerings, starting with a theme called Cubist Cats in a range of retro colours, some quite strong combinations and other softer colour palettes which would make great textiles for children’s rooms, curtains, cushions and even pj’s!
Another new theme is Spoons, I have a little bit of fine tuning to do before these are available.
An old design which I have revamped and brought out in new colours is my Breakfast range.
Completely new on Woven Monkey is a range inspired by the Savannah, simple browns and dusky blue called Savannah Stripes featuring cowrie shells and acacia trees.
I’ve had a little bit of time for making some felted and tweed brooches for my Mother’s Day items in the Folksy shop.
