December festive makes for my shop

It seems December has snook up on me and I haven’t had much time for making festive things but here are some recent creations freshly stocked in my Folksy shop.

A small range of reindeer brooches. With these I wove a background fabric from scraps of material which I then embellished with machine embroidery before hand stitching my reindeer, some beads and felt trees. Two have sold already 🙂

I have some cut and sew nutcracker man kits which are good presents to post, flat and lightweight.

I have a beautiful piece of Harris Tweed which I purchased direct from the weaver on Harris and it’s so lovely I’ve been reluctant to cut into it. However, last week I took the plunge and created this little sewing needle case for the luxury end of the needle case market, lined with Downton Abbey fabric.
