Handmade fabric Bhindi bead necklace

This is a richly coloured necklace made with a mix of ceramic & acrylic beads but made special with the addition of handmade fabric Bhindi beads. The Bhindi beads are crafted by wrapping, stitching, braiding upcycled fabric strips into tactile textile beads

The necklace pulls over your head and has adjustable sliding knot to alter the length. Comfortable to wear and not overly heavy or ‘clangy’ like solid wood bead necklaces.

This unique piece of textile costume jewellery was created in my smoke and pet free studio in East Yorkshire.
