Handmade felted BoHo textile wrist cuff bracelet

This is a richly textured cuff made with a myriad of layers, stitched, fused and embellished together. A unique statement piece as individual as you are.

I have made this unusual raggedy edge textile wrist cuff by wet felting the base and then hand and machine stitching fabric scraps & threads together and then embellishing other details on the surface. The cuff is lined with a red felt fabric, it has a beautiful hand made ceramic button made by well known Isle of Skye button maker David Bursill. The cuff fastens with an elastic loop over the ceramic button.

Opened out the cuff measures approx. 26cm x 7.5cm, when fastened it would fit around a wrist of approx 18cm diameter.

This unique piece of textile costume jewellery was created in my smoke and pet free studio on the Isle of Skye.
