Mixed media medal brooch, Scottish Thistle, tartan and tweed

Description

Here’s one of my new style medal brooches with a Scottish theme.

I build up layers as I work on the brooch using scraps of tartan, tweed, cotton. I then embellish with some hand embroidery, machine stitch, beads and charms.

A unique brooch to wear on your jacket lapel, a scarf, hat or even on a bag. This brooch measures 4cm x 11cm.

The brooches are not suitable for young children, they are individual pieces of Artwear for adults. Whilst I make similar brooches within a range, no two are ever the same.

Created in a smoke and pet free environment, nicely wrapped to make a unique gift.
