Felted Neck Warmer – sample piece2

Description

This neck warmer scarf is created using the process of wet felting, where layers of fine wool fibres are coaxed together with soap, water, and gentle agitation. Each layer merges organically, forming subtle shifts in tone and density that give the piece its distinctive character.
The surface reveals irregularities in texture – ripples, soft ridges, and organic edges – not as flaws but as features that celebrate the handmade nature of the work. These variations catch the light differently, creating movement and depth across the fabric.
Every scarf is unique: the interplay of fibres, moisture, and motion ensures no two will ever be the same.

The scarf is self tying, it has an opening for one end of the scarf to slot through the other. These neck warmers are fairly short so please take into account the measurement, this one measures 77cm x 18cm. This scarf has main elements of red and blue.
