Skye Thistle textile brooch, wedding corsage, handcrafted on the Isle of Skye
Dear customer, I am currently staying safe at home and therefore not wanting to put myself or anyone else at risk by going out to the post office to have my parcels weighed and dispatched.
However I am more than happy, if you are, to reserve your item from the Fabric Mountain shop by taking 50% of the cost to secure it for final payment of the balance and dispatch when times return to a more normal state. If you are interested in reserving an item, please do not proceed to check out with it as checkout will request you to pay the full amount.
Instead, email me through the website contact form telling me which item you are interested in and I will email you a Paypal invoice for 50% and reserve your item.
Thank you for visiting my shop and thank you for understanding during these difficult times.
These textile Skye Thistle brooches are individually hand-crafted by myself in my Isle of Skye studio in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Inspired by the beautiful pink and purple thistles which pop up in the landscape each summer. From the first thistles I constructed last year, I have refined the design to create a more sophisticated and wearable brooch for any occasion.
The thistles measures approx. from the widest leaf tips 7cm across x 9cm in height.
A lovely brooch to wear on your jacket lapel perhaps for a wedding, a scarf, hat or even on a bag.
The brooches are not suitable for young children, they are individual pieces of Artwear for adults. Whilst I make similar brooches within a range, no two are ever the same.
Created in a smoke and pet free environment, nicely wrapped to make a unique gift.
PACKAGING; Your brooch will arrive pinned to my own design display card and will be nicely wrapped.
COLOUR ACCURACY; It is quite difficult to photograph pinks/blue/purple, the picture you see here is the most accurate I could take.
Please ask if you require any further details about my work.
Because I work in quite a remote area, often it is only possible for me to make the trip to the post office once a week. I will advise buyers when I dispatch after payment is received.
